  • Fulton-Montgomery Community College was founded in 1963 following approval from the Boards of Supervisors of Fulton and Montgomery counties and the Board of Trustees of the State University of New York.  The campus, located in borrowed facilities in the City of Johnstown, moved to its permanent location at 2805 State Highway 67, Johnstown, for the 1968-69 academic year.

A hub for science, technology, and the arts, FM offers 44 degree and certificate programs designed to help students achieve their career and transfer goals.

Entry Requirements

The TOEFL exam is NOT required. FM offers an Intensive English Language Program. Students can enter the college for English as a Second Language study and then, after completion, directly enroll in their intended academic program. Applicants are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores for admission.

Fulton–Montgomery Community College is a two-year college located in Johnstown, New York. The college is a part of the State University of New York (SUNY) and serves Fulton and Montgomery counties. The college offers 45 degree and certificate programs, 30 campus clubs, and is a member of the NJCAA, offering Division III sports in basketball, soccer, baseball, softball and volleyball. In 2013, new dorms were added to the campus to serve local and out-of-town students.
