Overview

Saint Paul Lutheran High School is a private, college-preparatory high school for students in grades 9-12. We were founded in 1883 and have around 200 students from 9 US states and 17 different countries. Over 140 of our students live on campus in a dormitory setting.

Academics

Students attending Saint Paul as residential students are required to live in the residence halls with other students and dorm counselor. Each dorm room has an air conditioner, no more than two students per room and can be fitted with a small refrigerator.

The academic year is divided into 2 semesters with each semester consisting of 16 weeks of classes. Students are normally expected to carry 7 to 8 courses each semester. A typical student can expect to spend at least 42 to 46 hours each week on academic pursuits at Saint Paul.

Saint Paul offers over 90 college preparatory courses. In addition to these courses and in place of Advance Placement (AP) courses, Saint Paul provides up to 36 credit hours of concurrent courses taught by approved Saint Paul teachers.
