Our Cities:

Kingston, Brockville and Cornwall are all located along the St. Lawrence River, Southeastern Ontario economy area, and have copious amounts of green space, and lively downtown cores. We have all the convenience and facilities that larger cities have: Airport, railway station, intercity bus service, entertainment facilities, markets, and restaurants.

Kingston:

Kingston is a city of about 124,000 people. With many students travelling to Kingston to complete their post-secondary education at St. Lawrence College, Queen’s University and Royal Military College, its close proximity to Ottawa and Toronto (approximately 2 hours east or west), make it very attractive to students. Kingston offers a number of job opportunities for young professionals and recent graduates, with many opportunities in Health Care, and Business and Tourism. However, with an economy on the rise there are many more opportunities presenting themselves.

Brockville:

Brockville is in the heart of the 1000 Islands, in a picturesque setting of fresh water, and historic buildings. For both young professionals and recent graduates, there are many opportunities to find work in your field within the community. Students of the Musical Theatre program have the opportunity to perform at the Brockville Arts Centre, while students in the administration and health care industries have found much success in various healthcare facilities within the Brockville area. Furthermore, with large manufacturers, such as the well-known Proctor & Gamble, calling Brockville home, there are many opportunities in computer, engineering, supply chain and logistics.

Cornwall:

Cornwall’s waterfront stretches for 16 kilometers, adding to the economic growth of the city, and providing a number of opportunities for recreational and commercial purposes. Students can take part in the music and arts scene by attending plays, concerts, and even catching up with local bands and musicians at open mic nights and local restaurants. Cornwall is home to one of the largest SCM distribution centers in Canada, and for those students hoping to go into the Logistics and Supply Chain program at the Cornwall campus, having a distribution center of that size in our backyard provides unique opportunities. Cornwall has a resilient economy, which is evident in their very low unemployment rate.
