Entry Requirements
Holders of the Tot Nghiep Pho Thong Trung Hoc (Upper Secondary School Graduation Certificate) will be considered for entry to the University's Foundation Programme, ideally with an average of 7.5 or higher. Students completing their first year of a bachelors degree at a Vietnamese university with an average of 7.5 or above will be considered for entry to the first year of an undergraduate degree at UEA Holders of a Tot Nghiep Dai Hoc (Degree) will be considered for direct entry to a Masters Degree, ideally with an average of 7.0 or higher. Holders of a Thac si (Taught Masters) will be considered for entry to Ph.D. research programmes.
All applicants to the University of East Anglia must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of English language before they can be admitted onto any course or programme:
- Undergraduate: IELTS 6.0 / PTE 55
- Graduate: IELTS 6.5 / PTE 62

Postgraduate International Excellence Scholarship
This scholarship is guaranteed to all Vietnamese students who have achieved high standards from their previous study at a Vietnamese institution. The awards are as follows:
- GPA 7.5-7.99 - £3,000 Scholarship
- GPA 8.0+ - £4,000 Scholarship
Confirmation of the scholarship will be provided shortly after you receive your offer. In order to be considered for this scholarship you will need to submit your application by 31st July.
