Chinese Teacher (Mochina)

About the role
Mochina – VNIS Group's Chinese-language training brand for working professionals – is hiring teachers for HSK 3–6 classes and industry-specific Chinese courses. Mochina's students are working adults paying their own tuition, arriving at 7:30pm after eight hours at work, for a specific task at their job. You will not spend time keeping order in class; you will spend it answering very direct questions. CLASS FORMATS - Weekday evening and weekend classes at the Hanoi office. - Live online classes. - On-site corporate classes at industrial parks. - Both staff and visiting teachers are welcome. WHAT YOU WILL DO - Teach 90-minute sessions from a prepared lesson plan: objectives, timing per segment, answer keys, and the mistakes Vietnamese learners typically make. - Take attendance on your phone during the session. Attendance underpins the written outcome commitment, so records must be same-day — no back-filling. - Assign and grade work in the learning system. Writing and speaking must be given feedback within 48 hours — the system counts the hours. - Write a progress note every 4 sessions and an end-of-course note recommending the next HSK level. - Each course includes two class observations: one announced, one not. CAREER PATH Classroom teacher → Teacher for outcome-commitment classes (opens after three months of mentoring and a student rating of 4.4/5 or above) → Academic lead → Industry module author.
Requirements
- HSK 6 AT 240/300 OR ABOVE, with an original score report we can verify. Self-declared scores are not accepted. - HSKK Advanced from 75, or HSKK Intermediate from 80. Pronunciation is re-tested directly at interview. - At least 3 years working in a Chinese-language environment, in a specific industry (construction, manufacturing, logistics, aviation, cross-border e-commerce, and so on). - NO teaching qualification required. Methodology is covered by internal training before you take a class. - Basic phone and computer skills: attendance, the learning system, Google Meet. - When applying, state your HSK and HSKK scores in your cover note and attach the score reports with your application.
Benefits
- Paid per 90-minute session, at two rates: classes at the center and classes at a company's premises. Classes at industrial parks outside Hanoi carry a separate travel allowance, not folded into the session rate. - The actual rate depends on your certificate scores, years of industry experience and your demo lesson, and is stated as a number at interview. - Payment sheets are generated by the system from sessions actually registered, sent on schedule — no compiling your own timesheet at month end. - Class size capped at 10 (HSK 5→6 capped at 6), small enough to remember and correct each student's mistakes. - Lesson plans, slides, audio files and a question bank are ready per industry — you turn up and teach rather than rebuilding from scratch. - Three months of mentoring: observers in your first four sessions, lesson plans reviewed in advance, weekly student feedback. - Onboarding hours before your first class are paid separately, at a rate stated in your offer letter.
