New U.S. Bridge Visa Foil in Vietnam

We are excited to announce that starting February 2025, both the Nonimmigrant Visa Unit and the Immigrant Visa Unit at the U.S. Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City will be introducing a new version of visa foils. This new version is part of our ongoing efforts to enhance the security and efficiency of our visa issuance process.

The new visa foil is call the U.S. Bridge Visa Foil, replacing the Lincoln Visa Foil.

Please note that the transition date to the new visa foil will vary by embassy or consulate so the current visa foils will still be used alongside the new version. All existing visa foils will remain valid until their printed expiration date unless they have been revoked or canceled.

Just to give you a heads-up: the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi will also use these new visa foils in the upcoming weeks!
