About Woosong University
A private university in Daejeon with eight colleges and schools, including the AACSB-accredited SolBridge International School of Business. Degrees taught entirely in English start at USD 6,400 a year and need no Korean, and the university also runs its own 10-week Korean language programme on a D-4 visa.
- Two separate routes in, and they are not two levels of the same thing. The D-2 degree track is taught entirely in English and needs no Korean at all: TOEFL iBT 71, IELTS 5.5, or TOEIC / Duolingo / CEFR B2. The D-4 track is the university's own 10-week Korean language programme, for students who want a TOPIK level first. NOT FOUND on the official site: the founding year and total enrolment — aggregator sites give 1954 for the Woosong Education Foundation and over 12,000 students, but that is not the university speaking and this record does not use it.
